As a photographer based in Portugal, I am constantly in pursuit of the extraordinary, specializing in capturing electric moments at live events. From the rush of the crowds to the raw emotion of the artists, my lens has been fortunate enough to freeze time for some of the world’s most captivating artists, including SENZA, Companhia Olga Roriz, Emicida, Calum Scott, Dubioza Kolektiv, and many other.
My work has been exhibited and published globally, and it is my greatest thrill to bring each performance to vivid life through my photographs, collecting memories one frame at a time.

João Versos Roldão, is a visionary photographer and videographer with a keen eye for capturing and preserving life’s precious moments. Born in 1992 in the heart of Pinhal do Rei, Portugal, João has always been drawn to the natural world and its beauty. After earning his degree in Physical Education from the University Lusófona de Humanidade e Tecnologias, he specialised in adventure sports and honed his skills in event production and team management. In 2015, he delved even deeper into the world of sports with a Post-Graduation in Sports Management and Marketing, and began working as a Production Assistant at large-scale festivals.

It wasn’t until João enrolled in the University of Aveiro’s New Communication Technologies program in 2017 that he truly found his artistic voice. Working closely with his mentor, Hélder Caixinha, João blossomed as a photographer, taking part in exhibitions and supporting practical photography classes. Today, as a freelance photographer and videographer, João brings his artistic vision and technical expertise to every project, creating breathtaking imagery that tells a story and touches the heart. Whether capturing the magic of a performance, or the beauty of a landscape, João is dedicated to creating art that will be treasured for years to come.
